The semi-automatic filling and closing system for vials with screw caps.
The semi-automatic filling and closing system HFC-1 is intended for filling and closing vials where frequent product and screw cap changes are required. This can be e.g. for small batch sizes or in research where the number of pieces is still small. The system can process bottles up to a diameter of ø60 mm and all format parts can be exchanged without tools.
Thanks to the IF3 dosing peristaltic pump, the liquids are filled aseptically with a very high filling accuracy. The liquid is only in contact with the tube, the Y-connectors and the filling needle. Thanks to an exchange of the tube, cross-contamination can be easily prevented.
The operator only has to feed the empty vials to the rotary table and, after filling, place the individual screw caps on the vial. The rest, such as filling the vials and screwing on the screw caps, is done by the system itself. Finally, the filled and screwed vials are collected and can be labelled.
A complete changeover of a format and the replacement of the tube takes less than 5 minutes.
